Roadtrippin.... kinda-not really

The hardest part of having the shop, or "a job" I guess, is having to choose between being here for the shop, or going out and having fun. Not that the shop is not fun, but you only have one life to live so if you wanna do something, you should just go do it. Well, this year there have been so many events, so many good things going on in New England that I now have to pick and choose what to do and what not to do. This weekend is no exception. FBM post-apocalymipics is in NY, There is a huge ramp jam in Vermont, and I have plans with mom dukes... I already decided not to go to the Lake Jump FBM event two weeks ago and the Welcome jam last weekend, now I am once again staying home so I can hang with momdukes tonight, and work the shop Sat,Sun, Mon.

It's a tough fence for me to sit on but all in all the shop pays for us to do all the things we do, I need to be here and I am looking forward to another amazing January adventure with my best of friends on the west coast, so today I looked through the thousands of trip pics I have from over the years and in a flashback Friday post, here is one of my favorites to Kentucky with two of my best friends.

Dan Macmahon, Eric Hennesey, and I got on a plane and went to Louisville KY for three days. Seriously was so fun, started out with me not being able to go and then last minute deciding "fuck it" and pulling the trigger, I never told Dan or Eric and I just showed up at the airport and everyone got real psyched. To this day, this B&W is one my favorite photos.
All I wanted to do for riding on this trip was 180 this rail hop. I expected it to wait till the last day so I could gain some confidence and go for it cause time was running out, but instead, Eric made a B-line for it as soon as our bikes were together and with a little encouragement I got it done within the first half hour we were on our bikes. Amazing
Dan did this sweeet Fufunu on a jersey barrier just a bit down the street from the largest skate park in the US.

Here is a little edit of the trip, seriously so many more pics and memories but I already wrote more than most of you would read, and those memories are right were they belong, with me, Eric and Dan.
