Contest sponsor news...

Every Wednesday and Friday we are comin at you with some sponsor updates for the JV classic skate contest,
This week it is our good buds at Rad skatepark. Rad is located on rt.16 in Mendon Ma. Super easy to get to from this area just head up the highway to exit 2 get on rt.16 till you get to the park. haha. The layout is super fun and it is cheaper than most parks in our area, plus the vibe there is welcoming and super awesome. Bob over at rad was super pumped to help Jordo with the contest. Rad will be onhand showing their support and are throwing in a bunch of park vouchers for some of the prizes, super sweeeet!!! If you wanna check em out, myself and the DG crew are headed there this Friday night to shred and hang, also anyone with a Dg shirt gets a special somethin at the park, hint: it's triangular and has cheese on it.... JV classic, it only gets better from here!!!

Just got another 30 pairs of Vox in!!! They are looking good!! They start at a very nice $40 bucks too!!!
Also have a few pairs of odd ball sizes left in some other shoes, they are on sale at only $30 bucks a pair. Sizes 10,10.5,11,11.5, and 12... These should go quick so get here this week if you want a good pair of kicks cheap!!!

Native bike builds...

James at Native BMXfrom Casselberry FL is one awesome dude, thats why we at DG support his company to the fullest. I believe we have sold almost 10 Native frames out of this store and even more bars!!! This is a true to every meaning of BMX as a company gets. These guys live it. Here's a few of the latest Native custom builds we have done here at the shop, starting with my new trails ripper!!!!

Monday post #2, WILLI PARK!!!!!

Jordan, Mark, Chris and I took a ride to Willi to meet up with Poprocki and his concrete crew. The park is coming along and looks like it should be one of the best parks in our area. It is big, real big, and has a little of everything. I can't wait to see the finish product. Below are some more shots of the park, it should be finished in under two months!!!

Jordotron and the contest of the year!!!!

What can I say about Jordan?? Without this kid the shop wouldn't be the same. He forever rocks the DG to the fullest but beyond that, he is the nicest kid you can meet and one of the best friends I could ask for. Jordan is going to hold this contest next month at our park and I am in full support of it all the way!! It is going to be the raddest of times, one big bash before winter hits and we are forced inside. Everyone should come to this. Everyone should support this. Jordan is always ready to help out anyone with anything at anytime, it's time you return the favor and show some support. Get to this contest and have some fun with us.
No one is a bigger fan of Jordan than me, if you decide to enter or not, go to this thing and give thanks to Jordan for stepping up and doing such an awesome thing for this skate community.

One hour at Dayville with the Nube...

Weekend fun-raising.

This past Sunday, DG sponsored a fundraiser for the Sterling town skatepark. the event was put on by a customer and friend I went to school with who lives in Sterling and has three or four crazy kids who all skate and ride. Nicest people you could meet and they did a great job and had one awesome event. We were there to help with the best trick contest and also to MC and do a little skate demo and we raised $150 bucks from donations from local kids..... Not too bad.

What's better than Moes with the bestest of friends???? I couldn't think of anything so tonight I drove the skaters up to Moes, met up with Dan, and celebrated Jordans and justins skate comp win!!!

Speaking of skate comps, I heard Jordan say "Yo, yoyo, I M C'in at da park. All my homies gonna be da, need maaaaaad swag yo. no wha ah sayin? From what I gather, Jordan is going to be hosting a skate comp sponsored by the shop at Owen Bell soon, I imagine you can check here for more details soon. : )

DG scores 1,2!!!!

Jordan and Justin went up to Nashua today for a skate comp at a new indoor park that is super sick!!!! Jordan killed it taking the number one position over Justin who came in number 2!!! First place and first loser for 2 kids havin fun skateboardin, always reppin the DG and Worship skateboards!!!! Pretty f'in sick!!!

In related skate news, Mark took a nap instead of goin to the comp with his friends cause he forgot how to ollie and is lost unless there is tranny everywhere....
Come hang out at Owen bell Sunday from 10-2 to skate with these guys and the rest of the crew, lots of free shit and raffles and more, Git some!!!

Mctabletop!!!

Dayville park is always full of local shredders, this pick is really sick cause this guy is usually doin a bunch of techy grind type stuff with four pegs, like nolly to hangover tooth on the box, or some spin to grind shit. but he also can blast out into old school tables. I got psyched when i saw this, not that it means anything but I'm impressed with Anthony McDougal, plus he has really nice wheels....

Friday rant. Sports scoring.

Who the hell ever came up with the scoring system in some sports??? Who decided a touchdown is worth 6 points? Why 6? why not 5? It's way easier to add and keep track of. The US OPEN of tennis is on every local channel cause it is going on live right now in CT. Who decided how to score this game? Why isn't it like volleyball? Volleyball is easy, all this up 5 7 in the second set and now up 2 luv, what the fuck is 2 luv?? If you haven't followed tennis your whole life you'll never understand what 2 sets to luv down means, and screw trying to play with your buddy for fun and scoring the game correctly, not going to happen. Scoring sports is just rediculous, don't even ask how they score surfing???? I mean, i'm pretty sure the wave gets points.... This is why BMX contests are easy to score, count the tailwhips plus the flairs add the barspins and the highest number wins. All of it is just stupid.

Custom Wheels time.....

It's just about that time of year again, last year in Oct. I built 37 custom wheels, CRAZY. Who knows how this year will be but if you want a new wheel or maybe some new colors in your old wheels, We have spokes and Nips in all colors ready to lace up to your liking.

Want a red/white and blue spoke pattern, not a problem, black and yellow? Done. Want to run the sickest stainless spokes on black hubs and chrome rims or purple and teal on crazy anodized color of the day hubs, whatever it is, we can do it.

brass nips in black and stainless, or colors in alloy nips, lookin cool or running strong, it's your choice and it's all here!! Hit me up, usually one to two days and they will be ready for you.

The boys recently got back from NC on their yearly trip to shred...... This is the edit from last years trip. These kids know how to have a good time together and while they are doin it, they come out with some pretty good footy.... check it out. then watch it again.

Back to new school clothing, ANIMAL STYLE....

We just got boxes of NEW Animal product in!!! Everything they make is here, come git some and be the first to rep some fine quality clothing....

I went all out and made a custom display for the new goods, Some silver mettalic spraypaint, an old rim, and some imagination, also the help of my buddies over at Gagnon sign, and this display is dialed, just like the clothing on it.
